Quartz sand, which has been processed, cleaned and dried with graded granulometry and a high hardness of 6-7 on the Mohs scale. It is chemically inert, with zero water absorption, is not affected by the chemical properties of the binder and atmospheric pollution, has a high resistance to abrasion, while it does not deteriorate over time and adverse weather conditions, like marble dust. The morphology of its grains makes it suitable for admixtures with cement, lime as well as epoxy resins and paints.
